Our Blessed Mother, Mary

Dear Second Grade Families,
Did you know that in our Catholic faith we dedicate the months of both October and May to our blessed mother, Mary?  October 13th is also the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima.  This week, the second graders will be learning about our blessed Mother and how to properly pray the rosary.  The second graders will also be learning about the 4 mysteries of the rosary, and the purpose of praying the rosary.  The students will also be working in groups to create and complete rosary posters.   The main focus in our second grade classroom this week will be dedicated to our blessed mother, Mary.  Please continue reading to discover everything that will be taking place both in our classroom and right here at ACS school.
