Hello Spring Flowers!

Hello Second Grade Families, Spring is in full bloom and the weather is really starting to warm up here in sunny Arizona! May all of the sunshine and higher temperatures be a promise to bring brighter days up ahead. We now have arrived in the last week of April and May is right around the corner.  Please stay tuned to discover how we will proceed with the second graders "End of the Year Assessments."  Also, if anyone needs for me to print off their child's assessments and to schedule a day and time to allow your family to pick up the printed off materials,  please let me know.  Otherwise, I have emailed the assessments directly to you and you may print them off at home when time permits.  Your child will not begin the assessments until the week of May 4th.  In order to best prepare the students for their upcoming math assessment, I am going to be choosing mathematical topics to provide a review of concepts for the children.  Please continue reading to discover what y

Easter blessings to all of our second grade families! I hope and pray that you were able to enjoy a lovely Easter surrounded by your family and that you had a relaxing Spring Break.   It has been five weeks since your children and I were all in class together at ACS and this will be the fourth week of distance learning for your children.   I'd like to inform you of the plan of action as we proceed with our distance learning protocols in the second grade. Dr. Pristash sent out a notice to all of the ACS families of specific dates and times where they may visit the campus to pick up their child's learning materials.  Parents will be driving up to the curb and an ACS staff member will be bringing your child's items directly to you.  These items will include the next set of learning materials for your second grader. Hello Second Grade Families, Welcome to Holy Week.  The week where we relive Palm Sunday, The Last Supper, the Passion of Christ, and await the gift of the Resurrection.  Below you will find a link to free Holy Week activities that you may choose to do with your children.
