Welcome to the First Week of School ~ The Distance Learning Way!

 Hello Second Grade Families,

Monday will be our very first day of distance learning!  It was wonderful to meet you and your children last week!  Please know that I have you all in my thoughts and prayers as we navigate your child's learning together as a team.  My prayer requests are also that soon we will have the gift of normalcy entering our lives which includes having all of your children learning inside their regular classroom environment.  Please continue reading this newsletter to discover how to best assist your child for our very first week of learning!

9:00 to 9:30am ~ Have your child visit their Google Classroom and click on the "Google Meet Up Link Camera".   Please make sure that your child is registered in the Google Classroom,  so that they can access their distance learning materials.  I would strongly recommend printing off the Google slides to keep your child's learning on track.  The Google slides have all of the textbook page numbers and can serve as a great daily schedule for the second graders.  Also note,  that parents may choose to either return their child's completed textbook pages through the Google Classroom, or by simply keeping their child's completed work inside a folder and I will grade it upon our return to school.  Whatever option works best for you and your family during these challenging times.

Below you will find the Google link and class code for the second graders just in case it is needed.
