Autumn is Here!

  Can you believe we are entering the season of Autumn?  The season where cooler weather finally arrives.  Autumn is the season where we embrace Pumpkin Spice Lattes, the excitement of Halloween, the sacredness of All Saint's Day, and the blessings of Thanksgiving.  Here's to one of the most beautiful seasons of the year!  May you and your family savor every moment of the gift of the season named Autumn. Let's Fall Into Learning!

  Hello Second Grade Families, The second grade schedule is in full swing and the majority of the students are doing a tremendously wonderful job on completing and returning their homework.  May this newsletter serve as a gentle reminder that second graders are expected to read nightly for at least 15 to 20 minutes and are to log what they read utilizing their second grade reading log.  Please know that it will be documented on the second grade report card should any child not do their homework on a regular basis.  Thank you in advance for your support and efforts.  The idea of homework is to foster and promote both responsibility and growth in the area of reading fluency.  Here's to achieving 100% participation in the second grade homework.   You can do it second graders!   Hello Second Grade Families, Welcome to the month of September!  This month is now in full swing and your children have acclimated to our routines, procedures, and learning expectations.  This Monday, your children will attend a school wide Rosary.  Please know that I have a class set of rosaries inside our classroom, however, your child may bring their own rosary if they choose to.  Also, Wednesday is picture day!  Please make sure to have your child in the proper school uniform attire and your child will want to look extra "spiffy" for picture day.
